Jaeger-LeCoultre launched a new Geophysic True Second geophysical observatory real seconds watch, this watch follows the iconic design of this series, with a marine blue dial. The new watches are only available at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s online boutiques and are limited to 100 pieces.

The case is alternately retouched with satin and polishing, and the dial is decorated with sunray patterns. The central cross on the disk is reminiscent of a surveying and mapping instrument, and it is also a tribute to the original geophysical chronometer watch of historic significance, which was released in 1958. The triple faceted hour and minute hands and minute track are coated with Luminescent fluorescent material to ensure clear time readings even at night. The brown calfskin strap is patina-worn to enhance the overall appeal of this watch.

The new Geophysical Observatory watch is equipped with a very precise Calibre 770 self-winding movement, which has a ‘jump second’ function, which can drive the second hand to beat the dial rhythmically. The Gyrolab® balance wheel not only reproduces the Jaeger-LeCoultre logo, but also reduces air resistance, bringing a major breakthrough in accuracy. With the crown, you can quickly adjust the hour and date without affecting the accuracy of the minute hand, which is very practical. Through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, you can enjoy the anchor-shaped rotor made of 22K rose gold, while each watch is also engraved with an exclusive limited number around the case bottom.
